Description
These Ltd Edition soap dishes were made by Matt Grimmitt - a slipware potter based in Worcestershire (Tiggy's husband). Each one has a different slip trailed design that both Matt and Tiggy created in Matt's pottery workshop at home. The dishes were hand thrown on a wheel, decorated with a variety of different coloured slips, then biscuit fired. They were then glazed with a clear glaze and fired again. The results are different on each dish but all have a certain charm that will look great sink side!
There are three colours of soap dish to choose from and three different varieties of soap to match.
If you choose a whitewashed soap dish you will get a White Witch soap pebble.
If you choose a black soap dish you will get a Rook & Raven soap pebble.
If you choose a blue soap dish you will get a Peppermint Eucalyptus soap pebble or if you'd rather have a different one, leave a comment when you order and we'll do our best.
Each soap weighs approx 80g.
The soap dishes are a very simple design with a slight curve on the top, which is where your soap pebble can sit. Alternatively, you can use the soap dishes as you would a regular dish, sitting the soap inside. They do look better just resting on the top, though.
Whichever colour you choose, we will choose the design of the dish for you. There are many different variants.
Each soap comes individually wrapped.
