Who are we?

FuturePrimitive Soap Co. was born out of a passion for old-fashioned, natural remedies & skin preparations and was founded by Antonia Fiander (aka Tiggy) in 2005.
We launched our small business selling herbaceous perennials by Mail Order via our sister site -FuturePrimitive Plants.
We take inspiration for our products from old English towns, cities & its people as well as our beautiful rural surroundings in the heart of the English countryside.
We source Organic Fair Trade butters from Ghana & Kenya and we make a conscious effort to seek out sustainable ingredients where possible. We use pure essential oils & absolutes for scent and for their therapeutic properties, though we also use a few high-grade fragrance oils to create the more exotic aromas.
All of our products are made entirely from scratch, never a pre-made base.

In our spare time (what’s that?) we like to walk miles across the local countryside finishing up with a beer or two.
